During October, within Erasmus + Days, a 1-day event was organized at the University of Tirana. Dr. Perseta Grabova and Dr. Elona Pojani, part of the academic staff managing the Jean Monnet Module project named “Promoting CCA and DRM in the framework of EU Integration” (DREUCC), held a presentation in order to inform participants about the objectives and expected results of the project.
Present at this activity were Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, Rector of the University of Tirana, Mrs. Ada Ramaj, Head of Erasmus + Office for Albania, Mrs. Anne-Elisabeth Gautier, Attaché for Cooperation from French Embassy, as well as members of the academic staff of the University of Tirana.
The project focuses on promoting education in the areas of “Disaster Risk Management” and “Adaptation to Climate Change”, addressed in the framework of European Integration.
Improving knowledge, more compelling evidence, and a greater focus on innovation are essential to a clearer understanding of climate change and disaster risk; to strengthen recovery capabilities and informed approaches to risk-making policy-making and to contribute to effective, sustainable and inclusive development. The EU agenda highlights these issues and some criteria to address Climate Change and Disasters as requirements for achieving integration into the EU community. Through the integration of the field of climate change and disaster risk management in the educational process, it is contributing to the fulfillment of these criteria, indirectly affecting the EU integration process.
In this activity, the academic staff managing the DREUCC project shared with other participants the experience of designing and promoting modules related to the field of European Integration. In addition, it was discussed among the academic staff on the future cooperation between faculties and in inter-disciplinary fields within the objectives of the Jean Monnet program, a program which finances and supports activities related to the development and promotion of courses related to the field of European Integration.
Përgjatë muajit Tetor, në kuadër të Erasmus+ Days, në një event 1 ditor të organizuar pranë Universitetit të Tiranës, Dr. Perseta Grabova dhe Dr. Elona Pojani, pjesë e stafit akademik që menaxhon projektin Jean Monnet Module të titulluar “Promoting CCA and DRM in the framework of EU Integration” (DREUCC), mbajtën një prezantim me qëllim informimin e pjesëmarrësve mbi objektivat dhe rezultatet e pritshme të projektit.
Të pranishëm në këtë aktivitet ishin Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, Rektori i Universitetit të Tiranës, Zj. Ada Ramaj, Drejtuese e Zyrës Erasmus+ për Shqipërinë, Zj. Anne-Elisabeth Gautier, Atashe për Bashkëpunimin nga Ambasada Franceze, si dhe anëtarë të stafit akademik të Universitetit të Tiranës.
Projekti ka në fokus nxitjen e edukimit në fushat “Menaxhimi i Riskut nga Katastrofat” dhe “Përshtatja ndaj Ndryshimeve Klimatike”, të trajtuara në kuadër të Integrimit Evropian. Përmirësimi i njohurive, analiza e fakteve dhe një fokus më i madh tek inovacioni, janë aspekte thelbësore për të kuptuar më qartë ndryshimet klimatike dhe rrezikun nga katastrofat; për të fuqizuar aftësitë rimëkëmbëse dhe qasjet e informuara në politikë- bërje mbi rreziqet; dhe për të kontribuar ndaj zhvillimit efektiv, të qëndrueshëm dhe gjithëpërfshirës ekonomik. Në agjendën e BE-së vihet theksi mbi këto çështje dhe mbi disa kritere që kërkojnë adresimin e ndryshimeve klimatike dhe katastrofave për arritjen e integrimit në komunitetin e BE-së. Përmes integrimit të fushës së ndryshimeve klimatike dhe menaxhimit të riskut të katastrofave në procesin arsimor, po kontribuohet në përmbushjen e këtyre kritereve, duke ndikuar indirekt në procesin e integrimit në BE.
Në këtë aktivitet, stafi akademik që menaxhon projektin DREUCC, ndau me pjesëmarrësit e tjerë eksperiencën e hartimit dhe promovimit të moduleve të lidhura me fushën e integrimit evropian. Përveç kësaj u diskutua ndërmjet stafit akademik mbi mundësi bashkëpunimi ndërmjet fakulteteve dhe në fusha ndër-disiplinore në të ardhmen në kuadër të objektivave të programit Jean Monnet, program i cili financon dhe mbështet aktivitetet e lidhura me zhvillimin dhe promovimin e lëndëve të lidhura me fushën e integrimit evropian.
